About nsns

Nsns provide services in Switzerland designed to work holistically, meaning that they involve everyone.

We work with individuals directly through our coaching services and we provide training and supervision for coaches who want to work with the Neurodivergent population.

We also offer training for organisations such as government and NGOS, and professionals such as Educators, Managers and Healthcare Professionals.

What is Neurodiversity?

Neurodiversity describes the different ways that a brain can function and process information. Like biodiversity in nature, neurodiversity is a natural result of evolution and ensures that humans can adapt well to their environment.

Brains that are wired to process information differently from the majority of people are called neurodivergent. It is not obvious when someone is neurodivergent and the degree of challenge that this can pose for them differs from person to person.

Neurodivergent people include people with diagnosed conditions like ADHD, autism or dyslexia but also include people who may not know that their brains work differently, and are experiencing consequences in their daily lives that could be neutralized with proper support and information.

Nsns Mission

Nsns was founded to address the challenges that Neurodivergent people face in society and relieve the burden placed on the health and social system as a result. We provide functional support and education to neurodivergent individuals and the services they interact with, to enable a network of support that goes beyond the services of psychotherapy.

Our vision is a society where neurodivergent people thrive and are empowered to contribute in their unique ways to society. Stigma and fear is a thing of the past.

We will achieve this by:

  • training peer mentors and coaches to work with individuals and families
  • providing training and information to public organizations and professionals
  • conducting research on this model to determine its efficacy

Nsns Story

As part of her clinical psychotherapy practice at c2-Caring 2gether in Biel-Bienne, Elizabeth Frei noticed a growing need for support specific to the mental health of neurodivergent people. Given her own personal interest in the topic, she started a virtual ADHD support group in 2022 that eventually gave root to the idea of expanding access to services to help relieve the demand on therapists and to prevent the escalation of mental health consequences.

Elizabeth spoke on the panel at the Women in Digital Switzerland 2023 event “Neurodiversity at Work” which was organised and moderated by Rachael Camp.

As a result of teamwork, passion and outreach, nsns was founded in 2025.
