Coaching

Working with a Neurodiversity coach can be important when you are living as a Neurodivergent person. They can help you in more practical parts of life where a therapist cannot.

Our coaches are accredited and have experienced life in Switzerland in the same way you have, allowing them to understand your experience first hand.

Why Work with a Coach?

A coach can help Neurodivergent people manage daily life and practical matters. They have experienced the reality of the demands of life in Switzerland on neurodivergent individuals and families and have learned to navigate the support systems available to people in this country. They can help you find out about available services in your area, strategies for navigating Neurodivergent life across all areas (work, school, home, relationships, etc.) and with many other topics.

What can I work on with a Coach?

You can work with a coach on most parts of your daily life and your coach will tailor your sessions to your unique challenges.

Benefits of Coaching

Coaching facilitates you with easier and quicker access to support and a tailored plan to fit your functional needs. Your coach will help you to identify your needs and provide options to support you in meeting these needs.

Working with a coach reduces isolation and increases self-care to help you to feel more resilient to the mental health consequences associated with neurodivergence. Each coach has their own area of interest and experience, so we invite you to see who might be the best match for you.

Things to consider

Working with a coach is not free

The services of a coach are not covered by any insurance. Some financial support may be available upon request. This can be discussed directly with your coach.

A coach is not a mental health professional

Coaches provide complementary support and to suggest whether or not additional psychotherapeutic or psychiatric care could be beneficial. They are not trained to manage mental health crises but can work in collaboration with other members of an existing care team.

Coaching is confidential

Coaches adhere to strict codes of ethics to provide certainty that your privacy is protected.
