Hi, I’m Carolina (she/her)
I help neurodivergent professionals develop creative, personal strategies to get things done efficiently and sustainably. With over 12 years of experience in social research and the humanitarian sector, I bridge the gap between a clinical diagnosis and lived reality. I, like my clients, strive to find a balance between self-acceptance, self-improvement, and self-compassion. In my spare time, I visit people in prison and train future visitors how to listen authentically and without judgment. I speak English, French, and Spanish and use she/her pronouns.
I’m an ADHD Coach and public speaker, specialized in trauma, resilience, and person-centered care. I have over 12 years of experience in adult education working across disciplines and across cultures including with the ICRC, Webster University, and the Geneva Graduate Institute. As a socio-anthropologist, my research interests include prisons, social inequalities, marginalization, identity, and phenomenology. I advocate for inclusion across identities, abilities, and cultures and support teams through the growing pains.
Growing up Peruvian-American and unknowingly neurodivergent, I struggled between “I get the best of both worlds” and “I don’t fit in here.” I can’t say I have it all figured out, especially living in yet another context (Switzerland), but I’m finding my own way and embracing challenges as they come. And I’m not alone.
